ResetPassword

New-password form after the reset email link. Public so signed-in users can finish the flow.

ResetPassword

XAuthResetPassword is the target of the reset-password email. Completing the reset uses the Nile client’s inverted naming: authorizer.forgotPassword({ password }) (PUT), not resetPassword.

/auth/reset-password is public (not guest-only). A user who requested a reset while signed in can finish the link without being bounced to afterLogin.

On success: “Password Reset Successful” and a button to xAuth.redirects.login. Nile has no separate “current password → new password” API on PUT /api/me — signed-in change is still this email flow.

Validation: valid email; password at least 8 characters; confirmation must match.
