Signup

XAuthSignup is the shipped /auth/signup form.

Nile’s POST /api/signup often returns 400 Email verification is required for sign in. after creating the user. This layer treats that as pending success (check-your-email UI + resend), not a failed signup. fastify-xauth-nile POSTs /api/auth/verify-email so SMTP sends once. The SPA does not send a second copy on signup.

The verify link sends the user to /auth/login?verified=1. They must sign in again — Nile does not mint a session on the click.

• Tenant creation. features.createTenant: true passes createTenant to Nile (tenant named after the email).
• OAuth. Same rules as login. Buttons stay disabled until required consents are checked.
• Consents. xAuth.ui.consents — inline checkboxes. required defaults to true. to opens in a new tab. Empty array = no checkboxes.
• Resend. Check-your-email calls resendVerificationEmail() (uses the pending signup address).

Validation: valid email; password at least 8 characters.
